Dorchester Heights Monument Restored

A newly restored Dorchester Heights Monument has emerged from the scaffolding! Congratulations to our dedicated masonry team on reaching such a significant milestone!
Over the past year, our team has been on-site restoring the Dorchester Heights Monument, a landmark from the American Revolutionary War that marks the decisive victory that drove the British from Boston. The top of the monument was disassembled and transported to the ground. After repairing hundreds of marble pieces and introducing a robust interior structural steel package, each stone was reassembled back in its original position.
Our team will continue work to restore the surrounding hardscapes through June 2025.
