Berkshire Museum Capitol Improvements

Allegrone was hired to work with the Berkshire Museum on a large capital improvements project which entailed both interior and exterior upgrades. The existing nonfunctioning freight lift that serviced the 1^st floor loading dock and basement was removed. A second story addition was added and new Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC) was installed to provide access from the basement level to the 2^nd floor. Additionally, sitework improvements were completed which included a new sanity connection to the city service and foundation insulation and waterproofing to prevent water infiltration into their lower level which houses the Museum’s Aquarium and Art Storage.
