Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower
The Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Mount Greylock Summit Historic District. The interior of this 93-foot tall tower features a memorial chamber on the ground level and a public observation platform on the fifth level.
DCR awarded the construction contract to Allegrone Construction, Inc. of Pittsfield, MA for this landmark restoration. The project will involve repair to the masonry exterior and installation of barriers to access for persons with disabilities.
