Onota 74

Constructed in 1928, the Onota Building is one of the tallest buildings in downtown Pittsfield and is an historic property located on the National Register of Historic Places. By adaptively reusing the building into a mixed use, multifamily and commercial building, this is one of many projects that took full advantage of Allegrone’s diverse in house staff. Through implementing Allegrone’s expertise in historic restoration, design, and construction, as well as utilizing strong relationships with industry experts, the project entailed a complete interior renovation and façade repair that included maintaining the original character while introducing innovative design strategies and technologies in order to incorporate market rate apartments balanced with the old and the new.
